— Charred Low Coffee Table. —

1200mm L x 300mm H x 440mm D

Crafted from solid Oak and Ash, this low coffee table boasts a striking charred finish, inspired by the traditional Japanese technique known as shou sugi ban. While typically used for preservation, in this case, it adds depth and character, enhancing the natural grain and charm of the wood.

The table's top showcases two sections with a narrow gap between them, creating a visually captivating contrast and depth. On one side, you'll find a delicately hand-carved bowl, its surfaces softened with careful burning to evoke the gentle ripples of water.

Maintaining a simple and minimalistic design, the table features asymmetrical legs, with one side revealing the raw, split edges of the wood, exposing its natural grain.

To ensure stability and add visual intrigue, a perpendicular leg has been discreetly incorporated into the underside. Crafted from charred Ash, this additional support not only enhances the table's stability but also accentuates the natural beauty of the wood grain, inviting admiration from every angle.
